About Zed and its shortcuts

Zed is a newer editor built for speed and for working with other people in the same file. Its default bindings will look familiar to anyone coming from a modern editor, while the commands that are genuinely its own cover collaboration, the project panel and its assistant panel.

Zed is young and its defaults still move between releases, so a binding checked today can change. It also ships alternative keymaps that imitate other editors, which replace large parts of the default set.
