About Sublime Text and its shortcuts
Sublime Text made several ideas ordinary that other editors later copied: fuzzy file opening, the command palette and multiple selections. Its shortcut set is small, fast and consistent, and the multiple selection commands in particular replace a whole category of find and replace work.
Sublime's bindings are fully user editable through its own key map files, so a configured installation can differ completely from a fresh one. Packages installed from the community also add their own.
