About Google Slides and its shortcuts

Slides keeps a deliberately small keyboard vocabulary compared with desktop presentation software. What it does well is the loop most people actually repeat: add a slide, move an object, align it, duplicate the result, then present. Learning those few commands removes most of the clicking from building a deck.

Presenting from Slides adds its own controls that exist only in that mode, including the speaker notes window. As with every Google editor, your browser and any extensions get first claim on some combinations.
