About GitLab and its shortcuts

GitLab's keyboard covers the same ground as its website: moving between merge requests, issues, pipelines and the repository, with a global search that is quicker than the navigation menus. Its help overlay is itself a shortcut, which is the fastest way to see what the current page supports.

Shortcuts can be disabled per user, and self-managed installations can run older versions whose commands differ from the current documentation. What applies also depends on which page you are on.
