About Google Chrome and its shortcuts

Chrome's shortcuts are the ones most people use without thinking: tabs, windows, history, downloads, zoom and the address bar. They matter here because every web application on this site inherits them, and a browser command always wins against a page command. Knowing which keys the browser has claimed explains most of the shortcuts that seem broken on web apps.

Google documents Windows and Mac lists for Chrome, and they differ in more places than the modifier key. Extensions can bind their own combinations, and a managed or work profile can remove some commands entirely.
