About Chrome DevTools and its shortcuts
DevTools is a program inside the browser, with a keyboard of its own that sits on top of the page's and the browser's. The commands worth knowing cover moving between panels, the command menu that reaches everything by name, stepping through paused code, and inspecting an element without hunting for it in the tree.
Because DevTools shares the window with the page, some combinations depend on which pane has focus, and a few collide with browser commands. Google documents separate Windows and Mac lists.
