About Android Studio and its shortcuts

Android Studio is IntelliJ underneath, with an Android layer on top, so its shortcuts come from two places: the editor and navigation commands of a JetBrains IDE, and the build, emulator and layout tools added for Android work. Anyone arriving from another JetBrains product already knows most of the first group.

Keymaps are switchable, and the Mac keymap is not a translation of the Windows one. Plugins add bindings, and some commands only exist while a device or emulator is connected.
