About Adobe Acrobat and its shortcuts
Adobe Acrobat is where PDFs are read, marked up and signed, and its keyboard splits that way: navigating pages and zoom on one side, and the comment, annotation and form tools on the other. The navigation commands carry over to most other PDF readers.
Acrobat has a setting that lets single keys act as tool shortcuts, and it is off by default, so half the published list does nothing until you turn it on. Reader and the full Acrobat also differ in what they offer.
